POTD - 3/29/08

I was beginning to feel some excitement about getting outdoors and shooting again, until I woke up this morning! I can't even believe we got all this snow. Schools were even closed!

I know these are far from technically correct but let's just say a few were taken while driving and it wasn't very easy!

Holy blue here! I couldn't figure out why all the blue, DD suggested maybe it was because I was shooting through my windshield LOL! Like I said before who's the photographer here?

POTD - 3/27/08

I first want to thank everyone for the warm welcome back to the POTD! I so remember now what I've been missing - such inspiration here!


As for my post from yesterday, I didn't get a chance to answer Jess - I didn't get permission because I was assuming it being a public place that it would be ok? I dunno, if I'm wrong there. There were only 2 older people in there. They didn't bother us and we didn't bother them. It's actually a quiet little place.


Today's post was from the same day but outside when the snow storm hit! Another case of Schyler getting a little jealous about not getting her photos taken. I'm shooting "K" and she say's "hey mom, what about a shot like this?" I look and said, "Yeah, stay just like that!" Ok so who is the creative one here anyway?! LOL! She's been coming to sessions with me much too long :) Oh and for the record I wasn't on a paid session, just some fun practice when I took this.



I added one of Renee's borders to it, not sure if it works or not. I love the swirlies & flowers. I'm never sure of textures or borders.

POTD - 3/26/08

I know I'm not on theme. I haven't been participating with POTD since I sent my camera out to be cleaned. I just haven't had anything to really photograph during the long winter months.

Since the weather has started to SLIGHTLY break here, I had a practice session with my girlfriend's DD. Of course my DD needs to have a session as well (it's like jealousy, but it's fine with me!!) . Here is the laundromat series:

POTD - Cropping - 3/3/08

I've been MIA lately due to the fact that I haven't been very inspired lately to take photos. Everywhere I look there is nothing but SNOW!!! I'm so sick of it. We just got another 6" this weekend.

I finally got around to working on some photos that I had taken back when I was in Wendy's class. I was going for the "dramatic lighting" look.
