I'm a day late because we went to the State Fair for Schyler's birthday. Yes, my baby is growing up. She turned 10 yesterday. I felt a lot of emotion about this one. She has hit double digits and is no longer going to be attending Elementary School. I decided to get her a really loving, moving kind of card this year. I usually get her a cutesy type one but this year I wanted her to really know how I felt. I started to cry when I picked it out. When she read it, she was like aawww, mom. I'd post it but I've already got a big post for today.
For Schyler's birthday she invited 2 friends and we went to the New York State Fair. We had a great time!
First thing we saw was one of the human statues. The girls didn't believe me so I told them to walk up to it so I can get a picture. As soon as they did, he reached around them. Then started pulling there pony tails out. Everyone was laughing hysterically!
She's trying to get her hair ties back because he kept them.
All 3 of them bought new shades and sported them around for the day. I think they're a little big :O
LOVE THIS SHOT! Took Schyler a little courage to get on this one but with her buddies on each side of her she tried it out.
The girls with Schyler coming up the rear! Then BAM!
I decided to have a caricature done of Schyler for her 10th year.
This kid was pretty funny while he was drawing her.
They loved the fun houses!

POTD - 8/7/08
I fell off blogging again.
I actually have been really busy with Seniors this year which is a good thing. This last weekend was my first weekend off in a while so we went to a softball tournament. Some of DH's teammates were playing in this one. We have only been to one softball tournament prior to this one because of DH's back surgery, didn't realize how much I miss it. It poured when we first got there and then it just rained off and on. I love this shot for some reason and I loved it more with texture added to it.
I was a little disappointed that I cut his head off a little but I still like it.
If you look close, you can see the rain coming down.
